Rashad vs Washington

Of all the games referenced here, I was only at two of them: the 2002 BET Final, and this one. I went with a Georgetown alum. As we walked out, he shook his head and said, "You guys always win." The euphoria was somewhat short-lived, of course. But what a game. We've never had a shooter like Rashad. I've watched that game in the 2004 tournament against Alabama a couple of times. He was feeling it. Also, without his 3 pointer against Duke when we were down 75-67 (I think), we never would have won the title. All-time Husky great in my book.

My favorite buzzer beaters that come to memory quickly

3. RIP vs Washington
2. Kemba stepback ankle breaker vs Pitt
1. JA buzzer beater vs Cincy. Nothing will ever beat that IMO.

A top 5, do not think the #5 one was mentioned

I don't know who made that video but it's beyond ridiculous.

Nothing will ever beat Adams against Cincinnati?

Did Tate George swindle you out of your life savings?

That video has a shot in a regular season game against Gonzaga that comes with 7 seconds on the clock.

I think @tcf15 could do better. Where is the Hamilton vs Washington shot? The El Amin vs Pitt shot? The Tate shot? The Allen vs Georgetown shot? I recall a Denham shot and I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting.

Could be an opportunity here....

I just liked number 5 which is why I posted it.

My old favorite was RIP over Washington in 1998, Rays shot came before that for me and I was a little too young (like 5 or 6) to remember Georges shot. Any way, that RIP shot lasted for 18 years, as my favorite, until that Adams shot. That was an amazing shot. Considering the challenge and severity of the shot, I do think it is hard to beat, especially the challenge factor, my god. It is a once in a lifetime kind of buzzer beater which is why it is my new favorite. Well, maybe we might see it one more time before we die, but I figure it is rather unlikely.

I think there is something special and awesome about each of those buzzer beaters by tcf15. Right now, I remember how amazing the 3 pointer by Rashad against Washington was. What a shot that was, with that defender right into him and he was pretty far out and BAM, perfect. Onions is right.

Yeah context matters.

Adams' shot was great.

It tied a quarterfinal game in the AAC tournament.

God I miss Jim Calhoun. These annual highlights don't help.
