A Good Look At Olivia Vukosa

I believe that Olivia will play behind Jana in the rotation next season. Jana will take over the starting spot from Sereh Williams., with Blanca taking Azzi Fudd's spot as the other starter

"When you watch all these games, there’s nobody else like her," Auriemma told CT Insider. "I think she’s gonna be really good for us." CTInsider | 01172026
Thank you for the link. There's two things I really like about O. One, there's no waiting around. Whether it's low block or mid paint, when she gets the ball she attacks and forces the defender to react to her. Once she learns to anticipate the doubles that will come in college and handle the decision making quickly she'll be a load. And two, she doesn't try to contort herself to avoid contact. She's very comfortable initiating it and going up into the arms instead of trying to go around. I think she may get to the foul line quite a bit. If GA somehow manages to get Okeke who is also physical and athletically elite, look out.

Vukosa and Okeke would be a nightmare for teams trying to go to the basket.
When Geno goes into a “big lineup”
P. G. KK
S. G. Blanca
S. F. Strong
P. F. Okeke
Center: Vukosa

Good luck trying to score on that lineup.
