I don't know what I expected but this wasn't it. Mature, grounded, savvy. Impressive for sure.
And Rebecca???????? Hmm.All of the coaches were in attendance for that game.
You may be right, but let the competition beginI have seen videos of some of Olivia's games and I assume she has gotten much better in the last two years and from what I saw, I predict she will very quickly be a starter on the team, Her rebounding is exceptional and her 3's are excellent. Her going to the basket is going to give the opposition fits.. Olivia is a solid player and will THRIVE playing for Uconn with Geno's and Chris's coaching. My mind is already visioning NO.14 N.C. GO OLIVIA!!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!
Olivia noticed all 4 UConn coaches were there, made her feel like she has a “new family”… Also, Rebecca Lobo was there and sat next to her Dad. She is a great recruit for the Huskies…!
Congrats UConn and Olivia..!
Lobo was there supporting the Northwest Catholic (CT) girls team. And Rebecca???????? Hmm.
I like the obvious additional strength in the post, but worry about the loss of a major outside shooter. Blanca has many talents and should start, but is yet unproven to be consistent from distance.I believe that Olivia will play behind Jana in the rotation next season. Jana will take over the starting spot from Sereh Williams., with Blanca taking Azzi Fudd's spot as the other starter
Do you know who that quote is from? Is there a link to an article or would it just be from that Naismith Awards account?

Thank you for the link. There's two things I really like about O. One, there's no waiting around. Whether it's low block or mid paint, when she gets the ball she attacks and forces the defender to react to her. Once she learns to anticipate the doubles that will come in college and handle the decision making quickly she'll be a load. And two, she doesn't try to contort herself to avoid contact. She's very comfortable initiating it and going up into the arms instead of trying to go around. I think she may get to the foul line quite a bit. If GA somehow manages to get Okeke who is also physical and athletically elite, look out."When you watch all these games, there’s nobody else like her," Auriemma told CT Insider. Vukosa and Okeke would be a nightmare for teams trying to go to the basket.Thank you for the link. There's two things I really like about O. One, there's no waiting around. BQ shoots 47% from 3. I’d say she has shown some consistency.I like the obvious additional strength in the post, but worry about the loss of a major outside shooter. Blanca has many talents and should start, but is yet unproven to be consistent from distance.
