In the Stanford game, the only lesson learned from the game as a whole is that they could hang on to win if they get a big enough first-half lead. And yes, I know it's a work in progress and that they will work on the weaknesses, so in that kind-of-perverse way, it's good to get these flaws out there in a game where they could not harm the team win-wise. I don't demand blowout wins every time, but when  the team, which is capable of so much, delivers so little in the second half, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
