-- Rebounding may be our achilles heel... it's something we'll have to overcome in different ways.

-- We work on shooting drills every day in practice and they (the players) make almost every shot. Then what happens is sometime between the last practice and the game they get stupid... they start to think they're better than they are and start taking shots they never take in practice.

-- Playing basketball should be like getting a driver's license.... You should have to take a test every year.

-- If you have dumb players you can't run complicated stuff. (Geno) tries to recruit versatile kids who understand the game. It's like a great quarterback (he mentioned Aaron Rogers) who just sees the field and knows where the ball is going.

-- Long discussion on the attendance issue. Said all the complaints are true but they all existed 10 years ago. It is a problem for virtually all sports except the NFL which only plays 8 home games. Fans now expect certain amenities that are more important than ever. We (Uconn) are our own worst enemy. If a fan wants a ticket they should be able to pick up the phone a get a ticket and not have to jump through hoops.
