Some people have the "gift". The gift of being able to see the possibilities in a player that is raw right now. Jerry West has the gift. He saw greatness in Kobe long before anyone else, and traded for him
right after he came in the league directly out of high school. Somebody with that gift saw Gabby, and moved on those instincts. She may be a junior before we begin to read/hear about her in the media.
She'll be somebody's project at Rice.
