I know that the Huskies won by a comfortable margin, but, as I was unable to see the game, I would appreciate someone who did informing me; did our girls comport themselves well? Did they compete? Did they come to play and bring their A game? Did they leave it all out there on the floor? Did any of them step up and raise her game to another level? Did we crash the boards? Did they all give at least 110%? Were they not to be denied? Did MoJet break anyone's ankles? Did anyone drain one from downtown? And would you say that it was a team effort?

Yes...for 44 minutes.

They were a little out of sync on offense during the first two quarters, but Geno made the necessary adjustments at halftime. They went on a patented UConn run after the break and that got the crowd into the game.

Very comporting.

Did they compete?
Oh compete they did. Almost like it was a competition.

Did they come to play and bring their A game?
No, unfortunately without Stewart, wearing those gray uni's, Geno wearing a tie, first game back after exams, they were only able to bring their B game. Not even sure if their A game would fit on the bus??

Did they leave it all out there on the floor?
No, the floor was pretty clean after the game from what I saw.

Did any of them step up and raise her game to another level?
No, they all seemed to play on the same horizontal plane.

Did we crash the boards?
Hmmmm, 40-35, not exactly "crashed". More like bumped into.

Did they all give at least 110%?
No, they couldn't get over that 100% hump.

Were they not to be denied?
They were not denied.

Did MoJet break anyone's ankles?
Not LSU's, however, Stewarts and KLS's, not so sure.

Did anyone drain one from downtown?
Well technically they were in downtown Hartford, so I would say yes.

And would you say that it was a team effort?
Yes, yes I would. Everyone who played scored.

Very comporting.

Excellent post, sir. I wonder if playing on the same horizontal plane is as hard as getting everyone on the same page.

If you caught the executions of any of Henry VIII's wives, you pretty much saw this game.

Do you think it gives us momentum for the Md game?

Very comporting.

Sarcasm? Funny!! That 100 percent hump is large!!!

I do really think they Uconn women carried themselves well, conducted their task efficiently, but I not sure how they ?comported? anything.
35-40 ain't tearing up the boards- (usable word sometimes ain't)
I question how far "downtown" Uconn was---if Down town Brown (KML) was there we'd be up by 70.

Who ever said Meyers7 wasn't funny doesn't read his stuff (if anyone ever said that)>

No, they didn't give 110%, they kept bumping up against the 100% limit. Nor did they leave it all on the floor they all made it to the locker room at the end of the game. Kia excited from seeing her brother play kept threatening to crush someone on the boards but was confused and disappointed upon finding any and all boards along the court side at the XL center had been removed.
