A bad day just got worse: Morgan's team (Bolingbrook) lost to Whitney Young 65-74, seemingly in 4OT!

Sad. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Will probably prevent her from winning ESPN's Player of the Year award as well, for which she was the frontrunner.

It sounds as if Kentucky is getting a good one in Janee Thompson.

Young also has a stud in Harper. Like Bolingbrook, they were a consensus top 6 team nationally. Last year, Bolingbrook edged them in 1 OT by a point. The two teams seem evenly matched. This year, it was Young's turn. I'm sure Morgan and her teammates are disappointed. Morgan lost a couple of times per year on average, won 3 state titles, and received a lot of awards. She had a great prep career.
