It's obvious with Diamond, and Mercedes Russell this year the problem was Holly. They both showed they were willing to learn, and work with good coaching.

Agreed. I think Russell showed several facets to her game that were never on display in college. She had a decent career, but she could've been much better if she'd chosen a different school to attend w/ coaching that would've developed her better. Oh well.

I’m not taking anything away from Diamond but to compare her to Maya...nope!! Not even close
