Three defensive breakdowns in the slot put us in a 3-0 hole. They played hard in spots and made a game of it, but vs the top HE teams they have little margin of error.

I thought they were a little flat early. After the first UConn goal they came alert. I’d also say PC’s first goal the PC guy falling down made a great play to keep the puck in the zone. And of course the 5 minute major was was an absolute killer. Yo cannot get that. I’d put that kid on the bench for a couple of games. 5 minute majors killed us last year.

On the crowd it was definitely a huge crowd. Not the most knowledgeable group nor the most enthusiastic I thought.
