But hey, let's shock the world!!!

No, this is merely a challenge (which we will be up for).

Being a Rutgers or (the sole) BC fan is the worst case scenario.

I'm surprised I haven't heard any analyst pick uconn over Colorado , even though are gonna be favored by quite a bit. Very little hype entering iowa

to be direct, the THeads seem to favor Col. 8/9 match historically is 51/49

Very simple, we are doomed.................................................

Horrendous seed. By virtually every objective measure, this team would be a 7 seed. And then they go and win the AAC tournament. Should have been a 6. Instead, not only do they get a 9, but the 9 seed in the bracket with the overall #1. I despise the NCAA.

Kansas was literally the only team in this whole thing i didn't want to play.

Analysts theoretically love UConn in March. Not enough to ever actually pick them in a tournament game, regardless of opponent, but they acknowledge our magic

Greenberg was giving some props at least

No respect !!! AAC champ rated a 9 seed? I hope UConn will prove them wrong again.

It must be a weird existence to just make stuff up, and then get angry when your made up stuff doesn't materialize.

We deserved a better seed. Would love to play Kansas coming from the 7 Seed in the West where Oregon St. was slotted.

Oregon State in the field (let alone a 7) was head-scratching to me. I could have seen them in a first four game or maybe one of the other 11 seeds, but a 7 seed completely socked me.

Nonsense! Are these teams any better than what we faced in 2014, ie St. Joes, Villanova,IS, Michigan St., FL, or Kentucky? Get a grip, folks. We may have the parts necessary for a championship - but I won't argue with anyone who says that the '14 team had more experience playing together. I think the team started understanding each other at the end of the season.

Our two point guards had played together for three years. We don't have that this year, but the talent quotient is there.

Sure we got far from an ideal seed and bracket but how do you think Seton Hall feels being a #6 seed? They got royally screwed.

Not sure if there is one accurate statement in this post, outside your opinion of the NCAA I guess.

I would love to hear the argument for a 6.

do you mean the theads who talk about the nba for a living? or the theads who go out of their way to devalue uconn? in 2014 most people had the 10 seed sju beating us.

We got 4 teams in. I think that's enough respect (the SEC ONLY got 3).

The entire PAC was over seeded. Winning the B1G is harder than winning the PAC, State should have been a 1 seed and then either Oregon or UVA as the last 1 seed. Cal likely should be a 5 or 6 and not a 4. Oregon St should have been a 10 maybe. Utah as a 3 and Arizona as a 6 feel about right.

Geez. We are one crazy 3 point hoop from being in the NIT. This is gravy,

We were in regardless based on these seedings Cinci didn't move and Tulsa got in after a beat down by Memphis.

We lose to Cinci we might not be in. The way this team played, getting in was not assured. One way or the other, winning the AAC tournament probably boosted our seeding. We survived a mediocre Memphis team with all of our bigs in trouble. That's probably the last time we can get away with that. We also still have too many possessions that go nowhere. We rely on D, and I can't see us going very far just relying on D. But we get to play, so we'll see.

So your saying Tulsa's resume was better than ours before the AAC quarters on Friday?? That's my point, if you listened to the committee chair or read his comments or even saw the s-curve which is posted in a different thread we were safely in.
