9/2 Games: First Full Saturday Of The Year

If you're looking for a cheap chuckle, type Bob Diaco into twitter.....looks eerily familiar

EASY-U blown out by James Madison

Geez, I can't express how much I hate the AAC , and my glass is mostly half-empty to begin with

Liberty now up 48-45. About 5-6 minutes left.

Interesting coaching matchup - Turner Gill vs. Matt Rhule (Temple's coach the last couple years).

Think I'll root for the upset. Go Liberty.

UMass drops to 0-2 today after losing to Coastal Carolina. Not a good start for the Minutemen.

Purdue retakes the lead something tells they will have to get at least 40.

That was one of their easy games. Tough road to haul as an independent. Their schedule is pretty brutal.

Enjoying the Alabama/Fla St game. Anytime the ACC loses I am happy. And Bama seems to be putting it on the Noles in the second half. Excellent football. Hope UConn gets there someday.

Im flipping back and forth between that and the Lville-Purdue game.

lol no but it their reactions are highly entertaining

Very entertaining I will check their board tonight, I'm even tempted to do an I told you so post but I think that would be way premature its only his first game as D coordinator not that I'm expecting him to do great things.

this is technically the biggest upset in college football history. Howard was over a 40 point underdog:

Watching that game it's just so striking how good Alabama is. FSU was really fast -- and they scored 7 flipping points.

Puts our QB "debate" very firmly in its context.

Rough ending for Deondre Francois Concerns about rest of year...
Wondered about FSU burning their skinny true frosh QB's redshirt for the final 1:45, but Francois did not appear able to put any weight on his injured knee/leg, it was subsequently placed in an air cast, and he was carted away at game end. Too bad for Francois, and I wanted him to help knock off Clemson and Louisville later in the season.
