Damn, was hoping for Gus Johnson. Nice late start means I won't be taking anymore two hour lunches though.

Gus Johnson no longer works for CBS. They got rid of him I believe. Which is absolute insanity.

Yepp totally forgot about that. Missed him doing time nfl this year for CBS. The Stokely TD call a few years ago was one of the greatest things I've ever heard.

Good. Don't have to take off work, and I love Bill Raftery. I think he's at his best calling Maui and the BET with Sean and Jay, but working with Verne he's not bad either.

Over-under on references to "last call": 2.5.

Gus left to get higher-profile NFL games. Fox gave him that chance.

I hate Verne but Raf will hopefully cancel him out. Verne was already bad enough when he didn't know what was going on out on the court, he was even worse last year when he was openly rooting for SDSU & AZ because he had been covering west coast games for CBS last year.

They're really positioning themselves to set the table for a Kentucky-UConn Saturday prime time matchup for maximum viewage(assuming it happens - can't mess with the mojo). Think Hathaway & Co. were eyeballing this all weekend.

Raftery is beyond awesome.

Verne is out to lunch most of the time now. But he doesn't annoy me as much as some of the announcers we've had this season.

Much rather have Verne who is out to lunch than the guys who never leave the lunch counter.

Great rule of thumb for workers. If you suck and still have a job, less is always better.

Gus Johnson would virtually guarantee that the game comes down to a last second shot.

Looks like they switched things up. Just received this in Cynopsis Sports and we now have Brian Anderson, Dan Bonner, and Jenn Hildreth.

Ugh. Bonner annoys me. He never knows anything about any of the BE teams. Raff lives and dies with the BE.

I'm surprised they're putting us and Kentucky with an announcing trio of nobodies. Usually big-name programs get big-name commentators.

Saturday is St. Paddys day, Raff will be in rare form (wherever he is).

I forgot how pathetic Morrison looked at the end of the collapse. I felt bad for him, but your the leader, you gotta keep it together. That ending was absurd.

Sad we don't have Gus anymore for these.
