WTF is it with people shooting into parties? We had a case last week here where a driveby took out 1 life and injured several others who were simply having a cookout in the front yard.

Appears kid was just in wrong place and wrong time. Tragic for the family. As a parent, at some point your kid's dreams become your dreams, and that family just had theirs wiped away for no good reason.

My first thought, it was somehow gang related. Whatever the reason, its tragic, and not because he was a good football player.
