I called and they said they have been receiving calls and are aware of the importance of the issue. I really would encourage folks to call. At least you're doing something to possibly make a change for the better.

Typical of people of Connecticut -- you call the governor for CRAP like the Big East imploding, but not for IMPORTANT ISSUES like REDUCING SPENDING and TAXES.

This is about taxes. Less revenue means more taxes. UConn football and BB are revenue and job generators. Think it through. I hate taxes and the out of control spending. They are pisding away 650 mil on a stupid bus lane while Uconn burns.

Yes, that busway is a waste of $$, but Colt firearms is building a plant in Kissimmee, Florida, because CT is driving businesses away, because they love to tax and spend (on this busway!!). Maybe the busway is the start of a new mode of transportation -- MOVING VAN WAY from Hartford to the state line!!

We need to have UConn work to get into a major conference, but we can't beg to join. We need to be wanted!!
