Maybe that‘s why Connelly is saying the game is on Friday. Seems silly. Men’s BB has a lot of work to do to get to the finals. I’m thinking Dan just made a mistake. Plus, I’m not sure Hockey East cares about the BB schedule.

Congratulations! Did what they had to do. They showed that they believe in themselves - nothing is more powerful than that! 3 of 6 points vs BU and ME and a 9 - 0 point sweep of NE and VT. Can't ask for more than that. Getting 12 of 15 points down the stretch is awesome!

NESN’s program guide shows a a Hockey East Quarterfinal game for Friday the 14th at 7:00 and the 4/5 game is the only matchup that could be played on Friday. Also, if MBB holds on to the 3 seed for the Big East Tournament and wins in the Quarterfinals on Thursday, they would play in the 2nd Semifinal on Friday which probably won’t start until 9:30.

Most aggressive kill I’ve seen all year. Is it because of the opponent or are we seeing a change in strategy here? Just killed off 2 straight penalties and had the better scoring chances. Lovely.

In a weird way I kinda thought UConn was looking to challenge themselves and TRY to play short handed and nab #10 on the season. The PK came VERY close to scoring a number of times.
