Goalie was tied up by Lucas, however. Bottom line - so far we have failed on fundamentals and discipline. Cav has to read them the riot act at the break.

UConn plays starting to come down to earth. We were playing better than our talent early in the year.
 
Team officially in a rut. Whenever they get back to campus, they have to return to basics. Cav has to earn the money now. Get a PP installed that works. Work on pairings and figure out the right consequences for lack of discipline.

Team showed some life and discipline late, but it needs to be drilled into them again. See you all for hopefully the swan game at XL. Have a happy and safe Holiday season.

UConn was not gonna win them all. UConn had a really good first 1/2 of the season. UConn also had a lot of puck luck in the first 1/2 as well. Can’t wait to see what happens in the 2nd 1/2 of the season.
 
I'm normally a curmudgeon, but I'm actually trying to look at the first half of the season as a whole. On balance, they've wildly overachieved for such a massive roster turnover. There are major issues that need fixing, but the team is so far ahead of where I expected that I'm going to try not to be mad about the bad last few weeks.

Much weaker second-half schedule should help. Maybe the new barn does too.

I hope you all have a great holiday and maybe I'll see some of you at LIU (I am a complete sicko and going to that away game, yes).
