Need a big response tonight, come out strong and get the first goal.
 
Speaking of goalie, who do we think gets the start for UConn? Me thinks Sergeev gets the start based on performance as of late, and the energy he brings to the back line. Overall he's not as steady as Terness, but seems to be able to battle and the team seems to feed off of him - exactly what is needed after the Cornell debacle.

Also any word on Percival and his status?

I'm afraid Bradley and Capone being extra pissed off will lead to over aggression and stupid penalities

Second game in a row we allow the other team to just set up camp in the slot and torch our goalies.
Not to mention the sloppy turnovers and being weak with the puck.
Wood needs to get it in deep and stop getting caught at the blue line when a defender is near him.

Nice play by Tverberg! We have some life. 4 on 4 hockey coming up.
 
Thought they came out extremely tight, sloppy passes and could barely keep the puck on their stick. Feel like in the last 6 minutes they started to get more sustained zone time.
 
I have not realized until tonight how horrible the UConn power play has been.

UConn is 1 for their last 31 on the power play.

Have scored only 1 power play goal since October 22 (9 games).

In terms of percentage, the power play is ranked 53 of 62 teams.

Seems we look for the perfect one timer often. A lot of over passing and not as much throwing the puck on the net.
But maybe it’s just me
