this is why they're willing to join the Big East

(can somebody change the thread title to read "on Dec 23rd"? Thank You)

Good point. Just imagine how many more BCS Bowls Miami could have played in had they stayed in the BE. Just imagine how many BCS Bowls Penn State could have played in over the years had they headed to the BE. Just imagine how many fewer BCS Bowls West Virginia will now play in with Oklahoma & Texas to contend with. And, heck, even Notre Dame could have made some recent BCS appearances had they joined the Big East.

I hope Boise hangs 70 on ASU. I hope they onside kick when they are up by 50 and I hope they fake a field goal in the waning moments to make sure they get in the endzone one last time.

Total and utter BS that Boise is in this bowl. Nothing more than the old guard taking care of its own. The BCS and bowl system is nothing more than a way to continue the status quo so that results on the field matter as little as possible and the folks that control they money now will continue to do so in the future.

Play these teams down damnit!

Best team in the country last season could very well have been TCU.

Both this year and last year they got burned by an inept kicker who failed to do his job, basically they shouldve been on back to back undefeated seasons and they still cant get a legit bowl.

it's not just about a BCS bid, it's also about tie-ins

and BSU will help us as much as we help them with the tie-ins
