I was driving on 84 east near Farmington around 3pm today and passed a car with a 77-74 sticker on their back window. Loved it! Which one of you degenerates was that?

Small black Mazda?
I believe so... Looks like we have a winner! Where did you get that sticker? Or was it a custom order?

All it said was 77-74 in that classic black and white oval design you see used all the time for car stickers. No mention of UConn at all. Its subtly is its brilliance.

I believe someone here made those years ago, a lot of us had them back in the day. I think they were blue and white though.

temery made a bunch right after the first championship. They cost him 33 cents each and he charged, like, $5. Probably sold a thousand. My Renegade now has my last one.

I'm guessing that in this day and age all you need is a computer and printer.

On the way to work one day the summer before last I was behind an SUV that had four rectangular stickers on its rear window. At a stoplight I was close enough to tell what they were; each of the four national title banners. That had to have been a custom job but I imagine the most difficult part would be finding decal paper for a home printer.

Yeah, that was me. I was returning from a beer run to Firefly Hollow. Cone Flakes!

BTW, you can still buy these stickers on-line. Something every Boneyarder should have.

That is a cheap rip-off of my orginal design that Tom had made into static decals. Problem is, in the ensuing 17-plus years, virtually all cars have grown dark tinted windows (In CT from the rear seat back only) and stickers that stick on the inside of the window become more difficult to see.

I did lots of variations in addition to the classic white on blue that became the window sticker. And the design evolved over the years, too.

I had one of the original blue/white decals, gift of Aussie Cuz (remember him) but it got trashed trying to move it from the minivan I traded in. I was surprised to see this new one available on-line. It'll have to do.

I've had one of these on the back window of every car I've owned since '99. This one is on the back of my National Flag Blue SUCrossover Multi-Purpose PeopleMover. I bought a ten-pack, now have two left.

I bought a handful, put one on each car and saved the others. I still have all of them except the one that was on my car that was stolen.
