After hitting 15 threes in the quarterfinal the Cowgirls lite up for six in their semi final victory. The two teams splits during the conference.

This will be the most interesting game of the day.

Wednesday’s title game will be a convergence of the conference’s stingiest defense (Wyoming) and its second-most prolific offense (Fresno State).

The Cowgirls forced 23 Boise State turnovers, led by junior guard Tommi Olson, who set a single-game tournament record with nine steals. The previous record was eight steals by UNLV’s Dakota Gonzalez, a graduate of Highland High in Pocatello. Wyoming’s 13 steals as a team tied a Mountain West semifinal record

During the regular season series The Cavinder twins averaged 40.5 points. The Cowgirls earned a split by keeping Utti under control in the first game. Perhaps she will be the key in the championship.

I think Fresno St. scored more in the first 4 minutes than Boise St. did by halftime last night. 12-8 FSU.

Yeah, Wyoming's D isn't slowing down Fresno St. much so far. 22-14 and Q1 isn't quite done yet. FSU might score more by the half than Boise St. did for the whole game.

She certainly is a menace tonight. Owned the Bulldogs in the first half.

Bulldogs lost to Wyoming 65-63 on Jan. 2. Their season low in scoring was 62 against Air Force. Twins and company will need to step on the gas in the second half against a stingy Wyoming defense to surpass either of those scores.

Fresno St. has scored twice as many points in the first 3 minutes of Q3 as they did all of Q2. Yeah, I'm gonna chalk it up to a REALLY bad quarter, not the greatest defense ever played.

Wyoming continues to disrupt Dogs and control the pace and are crushing Fresno State on the boards. Cowgirls clicking from distance with 8 threes.
