`Thank you - I was slayed today saying that Sanogo needed to kick it out when he faced a double team.

If you posted "Sanogo needs to kick it out when he faces a double team," the only criticism you would have gotten would have been regarding you pointing out the obvious. You got "slayed" because you used a 16-year-old giant playing CIAC basketball as an example to suggest that it is inexcusable for Sanogo not be finding the open man every time. You said you were a coach. You should be able to tell that it's not so easy for a 6'9" sophomore in the Big East who has only been playing basketball for 6 years. You should also be able to see that he is improving in that regard.

How much he gets paid doesn’t change anything about the stat

It excludes a bunch of games that came down to the final few minutes as well as two overtime games. Do we not count those as close games because we pulled away in OT?

You mean the OT game vs SJU that went to OT because the team choked away 6 point leads in the final minute? I don’t think that helps your argument…
