I think when Kansas won with Danny Manning, they were somewhere between 7-10 and I believe Nova was an 8 too when they won

NC State was a 6 in 1983. Kansas was a 6 seed in 1988. Villanova an 8 in 1983.

If we win it this year the NCAA will move away from the tournament format next year.
