I don't know how UW is still staying close but somehow, someway they are. They will not stay close enough to win but they are not being blown out, which is major victory thus far...
And they’re doing so w/o their star freshman.I don't know how UW is still staying close but somehow, someway they are. They will not stay close enough to win but they are not being blown out, which is major victory thus far...

@nwhoopfan where is Sadler?
I bet Oregon State wished they still had Slocum too.Can we please have Melgoza back? UW can't even get a shot off in multiple possessions. No creators, no drivers, no shooters, nothing.

Careful now......Oregon State can’t just show up.Ha. UW is so bad you can show up for only 1 quarter and still beat them by 30.
I'm not seeing it w/ Prince. She's a finesse player, but she's not remotely close to what I would call dominant. 2 pts and 1 reb, 1-4 shooting so far. She does have 2 assists. Both of UW's post players are way outplaying her thus far.

Just think she needs to get stronger in her legs and be willing to bang inside.
Right now, both of the freshmen bigs, Watson and Dugalic are playing more physical inside than Prince.
My guess is Oregon's 9 player rotation will be Prince, Sabally, Dugalic, Boley, Parrish, Chavez, Mikesell, Pao Pao and Shelley. I think Scherr/Watson/Giomi will have a tough time getting minutes in big games.When your shooters like Boley and Mikesell can’t buy a basket Oregon is not gonna steamroll anybody. Glad they could grit it out and some young pups stepped up. Sabally came to play though. Nice to see Parrish break out. She’s been not much through 5 Games. Dugalic continues to impress. Think she makes the rotation if Graves settles on 8-9 after break.
note: Boley and Mikesell 2-15 overall, 2-10 from 3. These were largely open looks too. Rest of the team: 26-52, 50%

Maybe, but hard to keep Scherr off the floor. She has been solid both in the offense and defense. Watson provides a big, athletic option on the blocks, something only Sabally has consistently shown. Giomi too is stronger than last year. Going to be a hard decision for Graves.
