A lease for a 7,000 sq ft sports bar in Storrs Center has been signed per Mansfield Downtown Partnership June 15th minutes. That's a lot of space. Could it a Buffalo Wild Wings? Hopefully it will become a great pre and post game watering hole.

What do you think this is an APR ban??Nice, could they make it retroactive to 1990?
"Calhoun's"
The place will be called Grill 86. Saw that on the Charter Realty web site.
I am skeptical that this will be a real sports bar as we all expect. My guess is a restaurant with TVs that will remain open until 11pm.

Do people in their mid-30's to mid-50's still go to the usual dives when on campus for a game?
I believe this place will be more than a run of the mill restaurant based on its sq ft. Genos restaurant is 2,700 sq ft, Dog Lane Cafe is 3,900 sq ft and Chucks has 4,890 sf ft. I suspected it will have some type of interactive entertainment, private dining areas and perhaps a brewery. Plus the university has received numerous responses from its RFP for development of a first class on campus hotel with one potential site being adjacent to Storrs Center. The place will be called Grill 86. Saw that on the Charter Realty web site.
