That's random and head scratching??

Durrs announcement is Tuesday?? Don't know if that's it but why would they do that?

Conference schedule will be announced.

Ahhhhh, your probably right!!

Not my definition of an exciting "big announcement" but to each his own...

It probably is Durr, but why would the conference know so early?

It's not about Durr. Why in the world would a conference make an announcement about a non-binding verbal commitment to a member team? When has that ever happened? The ACC has yet to announce the dates for its women's schedule which is why ACC teams have not released their complete official schedules. Looks like the complete schedule will be released Tuesday.

#ACCwbb announced its home and away opponents in May - INFOGRAPHIC - http://theacc.co/WBB1415matchups-pdf… ... Dates for those games are coming soon.

Even money on schedule announcement of which games are XL and which are Gampel.....as the announcement is conveniently scheduled for the day AFTER the extended deadline to purchase season tickets.....;)

CAN'T be something as mundane as announcing the schedule. can it? I'm not a twitter type, so I'm not really clear on the source of this, but if it is the league office, I can't imagine they would make a big deal out of announcing the schedule.
My thoughts go to adding another team or two to the league.....maybe even merging with another league to set up more divisions.....or, perhaps some teams (such as Navy) only in for one sport are coming in for all......or maybe Army and /or Air FOrce coming it at least for football. In any event, better be a doozy if that is a league office communique... (is it?).
(As far as Durr goes, is she considering college in our league on her last list> I didn't think so.)
.......

Folks, this an ACC announcement, as in Atlantic Coast Conference, not to be confused with our beloved AAC conference.

As Gilda would say: "Never mind."

(In any event, I'm not too sure this is going to be good news for us.)

No way a conference or school says anything about a verbal commitment - that is an NCAA violation and not a secondary one. Schools cannot talk about recruits until letters of intent are received.

I'm sure it is their schedule. Absolutely nothing wrong with the self promotion - the B1G did a BTN special on it, IIRC.
