2 fouls on Brink. Nobody for UCLA remotely in foul trouble. 8-3 fouls in UCLA's favor.

Q2 has been disastrous for Stanford. They just gotta try to tread water til the 2nd half.

Jeez. Brink picked up foul #3.

35-30 Bruins, 2:49 left.

Not sure why Tara left Brink in there after foul #2. That was obviously a big mistake. She'd been playing small ball much of the half anyway. Prechtel has no fouls.

Lexie and Kiana trying to keep this from totally getting away.

39-34 UCLA.

Onyenwere just picked up foul #2.

If UCLA wins, the top of the Pac 12 would be a big 'ol mess. 4 teams within about a game of each other.

Now Osborne picked up foul #2. Gonna be a battle of attrition. Refs asserting their will.

41-36 UCLA at the half.

Osborne leading everybody w/ 14. Bessoir has 9, Chou 7.

Lexie and Kiana have 11 each.

Maybe 5 teams?

Interesting stats all around. 8-0 O boards in UCLA's favor, yet 18-6 points in the paint in favor of Stanford. 10-0 2nd chance pts for UCLA and 11-2 bench in favor of the Bruins. 6 3's for UCLA, 2 for Stanford. Card cooling off a bit but still 56% FG to UCLA's 39%. Not much in the way of fast break pts or pts of TOs for either team.

Stanford going big to start Q3. Prechtel instead of Wilson.

4 quick points for the Card.

Belibi picked up foul #3. That didn't take long.

edit--she earned it, I wasn't complaining about the call

Jeez, players down all over the floor and Corsaro lost a contact lense. Rough sequence.

49-44 midway thru Q3, Stanford has gained no ground. UCLA ball after the break.

It just looks like Osborne is going to will them to a victory. She has 18. She got stymied in the first game against Stanford but she's making up for it tonight.

UCLA stretches the lead to 11. Stanford is in serious trouble. 21 for Osborne.

Maybe Brink will finally get going. Kept a ball alive that led to an offensive rebound, got a bucket, then forced a turnover, all in about 30 seconds. And then another bucket.

edit--then an O board and got fouled on the putback

She had no impact in the first half, but the last 90 seconds or so she's been all over the place.

Couple chances to cut it 7 but they couldn't convert, now Onyenwere shooting FTs to get it back to double digits.
