I'm very elated at the job you've done this year, Coach Schaefer. Totally crashed the party and made believers out of us all. 4 straight Elite 8 appearances.

Unfortunately his team was not talented enough to keep taking down top powers. They'll have one (maybe 2) great games, but until he gets his stacked lineup of All-Americans, this is as far as he goes which was still really good - an Elite 8 birth. South Carolina fans can always mention how much Dawn owns Vic, but I don't care about that.

Anyways, Texas will be a Top 8 team for years to come. This much is clear. Go Vic !! I'm not happy he left, but I'm still a fan and I always will be.

McCray couldn’t even manage to lose to South Carolina by 28:D

Should be better with Harmon, Moore, and Hunter next season. And Gaston back.

Situations weren't equal. Texas didn't have the players to beat South Carolina. I don't know why people keep making this equivalence.
 
It is amazing that we beat Texas like this. We left a lot of points on the floor with all of the miss layups. However our defense was locked in. We will need more than defense in the final 4.

I've seen Boston a lot of times, she isn't as talented as A'ja Wilson. She needs to be quicker to play in the WNBA. The league is changing just as the NBA, low post players are becoming like the Dodo. Their is no way she defends against Stewie, Jones, Edd, or others like that.
Have to include A'ja, in that.

It’s not a good look but the transitive property results are always gonna be inconsistent. Alabama hung around SC for a little while in the SEC Tournament but got smacked by Maryland last weekend.
 
Texas, in the end, proved to be another Oregon.

Their defeat of the Turtle was a FLUKE!
 
Texas didn't really defeat the Turtle, they just slowed the game down and allowed the Turtle to defeat themselves. The TX offense is pretty dire, but against MD they made some jump shots and didn't have every other shot blocked.

SC is perfectly happy to play slow half court basketball, MD got antsy.
