I was hoping Villanova would win because their guards are not very good. Butler gave them problems and with Nika not playing, the defense won't have to be quite as sharp as usual and still do well.

I'm not sure they're a lock for a tournament bid. They're 67 for NET rankings and have one of the worst losses of any team this season to Butler.

I know the committee doesn't take this into account, but I'd much rather see a hotter bubble team like Ole Miss make the NCAAs compared to teams tanking toward the end of the season like a Mississippi State or DePaul.

Performance in the last 10 games used to be one of the committee's official criteria. Not sure if that has changed, but if it hasn't you could possibly get your wish.
