had no understanding BBFG had raised so much money
Not after Uncle Sam gets his mitts on it…Stupid question, but do the players see all of that money that they are “valued” at? In other words, Karaban is really worth $1.7 million as a college Junior? (Any clarity is appreciated as I still don’t understand all the NIL stuff.)

Yes, Paige was a millionaire in her freshman year. I thought Azzi got $1mm as well.Yea I'm not quite sure about the "valuation" numbers and what they mean.
I'm pretty sure that it was reported that Paige had made well in excess of 1 million real dollars in NIL/endorsement deals a couple years ago. She's only increased the breadth of product endorsements and activities since. That 1.4mm number seems like a gross underestimation IMHO.
I think it's just an estimate of what ON3 thinks they'd be able to make. I'm fairly sure Paige has made more than Alex thus far. She has 2M followers on Instagram. She had hundreds of thousands of followers even in High School.Stupid question, but do the players see all of that money that they are “valued” at? Yeah, that’s what It is.I can't get the article to load, but if they're using On3 numbers that means less than nothing. It's just some random formula they created based on social media following and is in no way based on actual NIL deals
I think Paige probably blows all the men's players away and good for her. She's awesome. Alex and all the other guys who make it will make a lot more money than her when they leave school. I don't think Paige will ever have to worry about money.I can't get the article to load, but if they're using On3 numbers that means less than nothing. WTF is "BVM Sports" ?? I see they're taking a page out of the awful Fansided clickbait playbook.
That’s my read too - it appears to be a forecasted value NIL amount (based on Social Media followers, etc) rather than hard what someone actually earned numbers. That doesn’t mean we don’t have good real numbers, it just means these are not the real numbers.Yeah, that’s what It is.
