Holy cow
GT is still in this baby

It's kind of disheartening for a player when game after game you fight hard for position, get pounded by opposing players, get into position just to watch your guards ignore you while hoisting up ill advised shot after shot. I mean, how would you feel? You'd think Boston could demand the ball...
Being critical is one thing. You’re just a constructive critic. It’s a good thing really. It’s fine to make these observations. If I sound like I'm bashing Dawn it's really because I'm kind of angry at her. For me it's because she fell in love with small, quick guards that are volume shooters and average passers, and wings that are fast and athletic but can't pass or shoot for spit. Where's the balance? Her teams are kind of one note, her offense is grab the rebound and run to the hoop, and when that fails, create off the dribble. That's not good enough, and frankly, I wanted more from her. When she started to build SCar into a powerhouse I was her biggest supporter (outside of SCar fans) here on the Boneyard, but to my eyes her coaching philosophy is flawed. Just this game alone is a prime example why I say so. At the half, against a team they should crush, they're up by 3 and there leading scorer is Cooke with 11 points. The best post in the country? She's 0-4 and rarely if ever gets the ball in good position under the basket or on the block.
You're right I guess. I just want that rivalry so bad and I want that huge fanbase to be rewarded. I mean, that fanbase can really help propel WCBB to greater heights, rivalries are what makes all fan interest grow. But as William Blake said "If the fool persists in his folly he will become wise". Hopefully Dawn will, uh, see the light.Being critical is one thing. You’re just a constructive critic. It’s a good thing really. It’s fine to make these observations.
But you make these observations every SC thread. We honestly get it at this point. At this point, Dawn isn’t going to change, to her advantage or her detriment. You continuing to harp on the same points in every thread is only going to continue irking you and raising your blood pressure.
Just watch the game.
And I really don't want to see some Georgia Tech beat this team.Being critical is one thing. You’re just a constructive critic. It’s a good thing really. It’s fine to make these observations.

And I’ll say it again, nothing is wrong with your observation. I honestly get where you’re coming from. Dawn is far from perfect.. and there are PLENTY of times where I’m watching us play and I’m shouting at the screen “WHY IS SHE IN THE GAME?” or “Why aren’t we playing through the post!?”.. and it was driving me crazy. There are plenty of times where Dawn’s decisions would drive me crazy. But then I realized that was starting to take away from my fan experience. I’m not a coach, so I’m not going to worry about coach things. I’m a fan, so I’m gonna stay in my fan lane and just ride the highs and lows. You're right I guess.
