I just saw on facebook that the doors open at 6. They're doing stuff outside that starts at 5, so the line is going to start forming around 5 at the latest. Factor in the amount of people that will inevitably cut you in line, you better get there multiple hours ahead of time, especially if you want the VIP seats, which go to the first 75 people in.
Then again, I'm a college kid who has nothing to do on a Friday afternoon after class, so I have little problem waiting a while. I've shown up 5-6 hours early for basketball games in February, so I'll survive. I don't think there will be a line at noon, but I'll definitely be checking to make sure.
