Of the four, this is probably the most interesting. Do you go with the depth of the 2000 team or the greatness of Maya Moore and Tina Charles? I'm fascinated to see how this one plays out.

I'm sorry but there isn't anyway that the 2000 team beats the 2010 team with Maya Moore and Tina Charles.

You're forgetting just how good Shea Ralph/Abrosimova were that season. Both were AP First Team All Americans and Ralph took home some POY awards. Plus they have a huge advantage with Bird over Doty, and great defensive post depth in the post with Jones/Williams/Cash/Sauer/Schumacher.

That 2000 team was deep and fundamentally sound. And I almost never pick against Sue Bird. But I think the 2010 team had too much speed and athleticism--not just Maya and Tina, but Kalana and Tiffany. Maya and Tina weren't just All-Americans, they were hands down the best players in the country. And they rank 1 and 2 in UConn career scoring.

Maya and Tina were unequivocally the two best players in WCBB in 2010, but Shea and Svet were two of the top three in 2000. I give 2000 a big edge at PG (Sue over Caroline), a big edge at SG (Shea over Tiff), a draw at SF (senior Kaleena vs. sophomore Swin), an edge to Maya over Svet (but Svet could hang), a huge edge to Tina over Page or Shuie, and a huge edge to the 2000 bench over 2010. Overall, slight edge to 2000, IMO, but I'd respect an answer of 2010.

In my opinion the 2010 Team is the greater team. To go undefeated makes you greater. But in this matchup I go with 2000. The difference is with the guards and the plethora of bigs 2000 has. Tamika and Sveta can guard Maya. Swin Cash can help off of Faris to help defend Tina. Just remember how the 2010 team played in the Finals. That game was ugly. Why? IMO the 2010 was more apt to struggle because of their guard play. The 2000 team had great guards so their offense would be more consistent. If they play at their best I take the 2010 team. But for consistency, I'd take the 2000 Team. Thus I give the slight edge to 2000 in a head-to-head matchup. Sveta is a hard matchup for 2010 team as well as Bird and Ralph. Somewhere Doty would struggle. Take her out and bring in Faris - you collapse- double-down Swin Cash on Tina.

2000. For all the reasons above. Plus you have 4 Olympians to 2 and based on her form that year it would have been five but for the next year's knee for Shea.

Have to just add on here because they will not make it to an Championship comparison but they were amazing -

2000 Team - Ralph, Abrosimova, Schumaker, Czel, Rigby (Sr), Bird, Williams, Cash, Jones (Jr), Johnson (Soph), Diana Taurasi (Fr)

You lose two serviceable players to graduation but add 'all world' DT (except in the semi!)
