3 ball is a big factor. 3 this quarter for UA, Indiana has none for the game. Lead was 7, Berger jump shot cuts it to 5.
 
This is the opposite of the Texas A&M-Iowa St. game--refs just won't call a jump ball. That was ridiculous.
 
Should've been a tie up and Arizona ball, instead Indiana ball and Reece just got her 4th foul.
 
Pueyo was good knocking down 3's last year. This year not so much, although she's hit 2 big ones here.

McDonald just pulled up lame. You have to be freaking kidding.
 
Berger w/ the kamikaze dive, that should've been a foul. I think they might've given Arizona a timeout. Refs really do not have a handle on tie up situations in this game.
 
That's gonna get reversed. Called it out on Arizona, but Berger kicked it. That helps.

Indiana returns the favor. Come on refs, let's finish the game and quit calling these screens.
 
Refs have seized control. A whistle every 10 seconds or so. 1:18 might last another 10 minutes.

Wow, Pueyo w/ strangest pass I've ever seen. Ball was on the floor, she pushed it along the ground to a teammate for a layup, off a loose ball scramble.
 
There's the icing on the cake. Equivalent of a pick 6. Steal, dribbled length of the court, layup and-1. McDonald has been sensational in the Tourney. Might just be the best player thru 4 rounds. :rolleyes:

Baylor/UCONN was the semi final on this side of the bracket to be honest

AZ is great team just don't think they hang with UCONN unless they struggle to make shots

McDonald 33 on 12-20 shooting, 5-6 3's, 11 reb. 4 assists. Baptiste had 12 pts/10 reb. Cats were 9-21 behind the arc.

20 pts/8 reb. for Holmes, 15 for Berger.
 
It's always fun to see a school reach its ever Final 4. I saw in person Duke (99) and South Carolina (2015)... both games I'll never forget

Yeah I see almost no chance of Arizona beating UConn. Gotta feel really good for them getting to a FF though. Happy to see McDonald playing so well after struggling much of the season.

Agree. Even at its very best the Arizona offense won't generate enough points to come close to UCONN's output unless the Huskies commit an enormous number of live ball turnovers, and I don't think that's going to happen.
 
If UConn doesn't beat Arizona, they don't deserve to win a NC.
