"The Huskies will head to Chestnut Hill, MA on Saturday, October 18, 2025 to face the Eagles at Alumni Stadium for the first of four games now scheduled with BC. The full UConn 2025 schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

UConn will host the Eagles at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field during the 2029 (Oct. 20) and 2031 (Aug. 30) seasons and travel back up to BC in the 2030 season (Sept. 14)."

This should help both teams bottom lines - and that is the bottom line. BCU seats 44,000+ and they average 36,000 in 2024. It's a very easy trip for Huskies fans. UConn seats 40,000 and we averaged 25,000 in 2024. It's a easy trip for BCU fans. It just makes financial sense for both sides.

The added value is media interest should increase for both teams leading up to the game.

BC averaged 39,839 last year Per D1Ticker.com.

That pass wouln't have been viewed as anything special if it hadn't been thrown by a garden gnome.
But... But.... Would one from Fairfield County not admire the fact the garden gnome had a decent tenure in the game?
That and the fact his net worth is 10 mill. ;)
