Walz needs to practice those sideline inbounds. That was poor.
If you remember in last year’s regional final, Louisville had a key inbound play late in the game and Geno surprised the Cardinals by going zone. The inbounder threw a bad pass that was picked off by Megan and the Huskies went on to win the game.

Would this qualify as dirty thuggery, hand to hand combat?

In my years watching Pac 12 play I don't recall a Sun Devil performing this action?
Why we refs didn’t go to the video to see that was a intentional foul for 2 shots and the ball was bad. Why Antonelli didn’t make a comment on it is just as bad, but then again her bias for Louisville and NC State is well known so we should not expect her to do her job. Happy for FSU. Now the question is how healthy will Gillespie be for tomorrow as the door should be ope for NC State or BC to win this. Imagine BC ? Wow, just wow...

Are you hyped for the next game?

I would say "apprehensive". Anxious about how NC State comes out of the gate and if BC continues shooting well.

For balance there was this play in the final U19 Women's Basketball World Cup.

I don’t have a dog in that fight, so best of luck to the Wolfpack.

We will be rooting for the Pack! Got 3 family members that are alumni.

Routing vs. rooting? I had to read twice to make sure I understood what you were saying. ;)

Like I said earlier. He thought he had Paige making the inbound pass. ;);)

Oregon fans that didn’t believe in Karma previously just might now.
I don't understand. What does karma have to do with this?

Waltz’s interview yesterday which indicated he’s unhappy about being rated behind Oregon.
Are you talking about his press conference after the Syracuse game? If so I think you're twisting his words. He spoke in general terms about there being people who "don't think we're all that good" and then referenced their win over Oregon and said he'd love the chance to play them again. But unless I missed something, he didn't say his team should be ranked ahead of Oregon.

You may be right. I did not see the interview live...just read a report from an Oregon beat reporter who may have twisted his meaning. If so apologies.

It was a bit humorous how he made a point -- in rather typical Jeff Walz fashion -- of saying "we're 2-0 against Sabrina." Okay great, that first win was very early in her sophomore year, on Louisville's home floor, when Louisville was the clear favorite. Not sure what bearing that has on this year's team.

He likes to have that chip on his shoulder and he made it sound like people -- not sure if he meant the media in general or Oregon specifically -- reference Oregon's early loss without saying who they lost to. It's clearly just one of those things he does to try and motivate his team. Kinda similar to how he took Muffet to task for not saying Asia Durr's name.
