Glad to hear he was impressed with Ollie, but once we have the practice facility built its gonna be ridiculous. Also, he has stated he thinks UConn is an up and coming program. That is fine with me that he thinks that because he committed anyway, but I'm sure some recruits will also be impressed with UConn's history of on court success and production of NBA players. Ollie + practice facility + Championships + NBA $ and success = big time recruits every year.

Hamilton is to KO as Chris Smith was to JC. The torch has successfully passed. For all the conference realignment angst, the fact is that until/unless the schism happens and the big 5 leagues start their own system, we will be able to compete at the highest level in bball with KO around.

Daniel sees himself as a 1/2. That's an interesting twist for a 6'7" player. That possibly makes his signing more of a factor with other wings. Oubre is listed as a 6'5" SF and Hill is a 6'5" SG...they do cluster more if Dan Hurley is serious about being a guard. He did say he will play wherever the coach plays him. I guess it would be a nice problem to have to have to figure out how to use two top level freshman wings on the team at the same time, with Omar still around.

It's great that he's developing point guard skills, we need that. We could have the first 3 point guard lineup. One of them 6'3" (Purvis) and one 6'7" (Hamilton).

Major disappointment in the interview----he did not mention the cows and if they took him to the Dairy Bar!!!!!!!:)

Sometimes we need to mask the "cow" thing. L.A. kids might just think we are a hillbilly college. It has turned a few off, just as it has attracted people, too.

After all these years I think i finally have to come out. I am the one and only Uconn student in history who never went to the Dairy Bar. Seriously. In my 2 years on campus I never once set foot inside the dairy bar.
