OK - it just seemed so because you keep asking how he has remained employed for 40 years. Sports are probably the most notorious for loyalty/patronage.

Yes, and the UConn football program is paying a very serious price for putting patronage over performance. You're aware that quote came from a Horde member defending him, right?

The Horde should be referred to as the UCFBPM (UCONN Football Propaganda Machine). Aside fron Jacobs and Duffy not 1 of these guys has called the coaching staff out.

Let's see: UCONN had 34 rushing yards, 349 passing yards yesterday against Maryland.

NY Giants had 23 yards rushing, 353 passing yards against Denver today.

I feel so much better now. NOT.

The only way this could get worse is if someone tells me that Baldwin can't get the Whalers back and that the Patriots aren't moving to East Hartford...

...what? What's that? Well, at least we'll have Dave Chappelle to keep us laughing in CT. Huh? What happened at the Bushnell?!? Man, this $#it seems to be happening to me a lot!!! :(

My point is that I believe that DeLorenzo and Hyppolite...and McCombs...are all competent running backs. It is the OLine that is making them look like they are incompetent. Until that OLine starts creating holes to go through in the forward direction, it will continue with any of the running backs in our stable. They're really good at creating holes for the opposing DLines to go through in the reverse direction, so they've got that going for them...

How would you know if they don't get any touches? 1 carry is not enough. If there was a whole McCombs jumps around instead of hitting the whole hard, by the time he hits the whole it's already to late. Another thing I notice is that if there's no whole McCombs doesn't bounce it to the outside to try and make something out of nothing. It's not always the O-Line, if there's nothing there a RB is suppose to try and make something happen, but of course, since McCombs can't break a damn tackle we like to blame the O-Line.

I read Dez's chat last week.....he had Silver as a guest.....Silver defended GDL by trotting out that line of never being unemployed.

2 of the more prominent members of the UCFBPM (UCONN Football Propaganda Machine)...I can't wait to see how they spin it when the axe falls! I've stuck up for Dez for a long time, but there isn't a good way to spin what a poor job these guys have done...especially P and GDL.

How would I know what??? I've already said that I thought DeLorenzo and Hyppolite are both competent running backs. I believe that behind a better line, they would both be successful D-1 running backs. What else do you want me to say? That they are so fantastic that they could run behind this $#itty OLine of ours and be successful? Well, I've got news for you....they can't...
