per DC.... hope it's worth the wait... we've been teaspoon fed with info lately it seems.. hopefully we get a commit or 2 after as well...

Until what is revealed? The logo and b-ball tourney sites will be revealed next week. Official name change isn't until July 1st.

Never been a big fan of waiting. Not bad, actually.
 
I have no interest in the logo because I hate the conference and every soul-sucking member of it...

But that looks like they took Captain America's logo and merged it with an insurance company's.
 
After seeing that logo I feel like bouncing Aresco up and down on my knee and reading a Captain America story to him.

(can't be real though, AAC isn't going to be used, I thought)

ADs and coaches were shown American Athletic Conference logo today. It'll be released in a week or so. #UConn's Warde Manuel likes it.

No discussion of postseason basketball tournament site for The American. That'll come Tuesday but no decision will be made this week.
 
After all the hammerin' home Aresco did about being refered to as "The American" because we don't want to be known as the AAC??? And the logo says what??

With all due respect to CL82 - I've been led to believe that is NOT the official logo. I'll be the first to apologize if I'm wrong but...

It will be a double outlined 'A' with a star in the center (think Univ of Arizona) with a workmark underneath.

The Captain America references are unavoidable from a conference calling itself, 'The American'.
