Big 3 by Williams, UCLA was mounting a come back.

UCLA cut a 22 point deficit to 15, then Stanford ran it right back to 23 at the half.

.-.
How about Lexie w/ a quiet 12 points to compliment Kiana's 16?

Onyenwere has 13.

Well, this has been sort of disappointing. I was expecting a close, tight game. This one is anything but.

Least entertaining conference championship today. At least in comparison to the NCST/Lousiville and SC/Georgia games

Stanford is terrific, UCLA just can't keep up with them tonight.

At least we get some offense finally

I'd rather see one team playing really well than 2 teams struggling to score and having a close game, but that's just me. That's in reference to the ACC game, I didn't watch the SEC game.

What kind of offense is UCLA running and do they believe in guarding anyone? Stanford looks good but UCLA is helping them by not putting up much resistance.

Is UCLA having a bad night or is Stanford this good?
Stanford is inconsistent...they have games like this where they look like the #1 team in the country and others where they look rather pedestrian offensively. If Williams is on they're hard to beat. And Brink's emergence as an interior defender gives them an edge against a lot of opposing teams. I'm looking forward to seeing her match up against other strong bigs in the NCAAs.

Refs trying to even it up a little. Exact same thing is ignored on one end w/ Stanford shooting and called a foul on the other end.

.-.
Osborne is down. Having another brutal shooting night but they still need her on the floor. Landed on another player's foot.

Jeez, only 3 players have scored for UCLA and Onyenwere has 17 of their 24.

Stanford in a lull. This group on the floor isn't really working.

How does UCLA leave Kiana WIDE open in the corner? She buried it.

Brink was back in for about a second before picking up foul #3.

Both teams played well; the defensive display was outstanding.

I saw plenty of open shots that were missed. You have to put the ball in the bucket, that's the whole point of the game. I've been unimpressed almost every time I've watched Louisville.

Stanford offense has ground to a halt in Q3. 11-6 UCLA this quarter about halfway thru.

edit--a good chunk of UCLA's offense is coming from the charity stripe--7-0 FTA disparity this half.

This quarter can't end soon enough for Stanford. The half time break killed them.

Too bad UCLA didn 't stop the bleeding sooner. Tough mountain to climb making up that many points against a quality team.
