Yeah, our 3-point shooting is the lowest in some years. Meg is shooting well, but Lou and Crystal are off their norms. I liked it when Kaleena shot .488 and was only second among the starters (Moriah shot .496). Kia also shot over .400. Stewie and Morgan shot around .300, so the team averaged .406.

Our 3-point defense is also spotty. We'll need to improve for Louisville, Oregon, Notre Dame, et al.

I LOVE statistics versus plain anecdotal evidence or hearsay!! Thank you for this!! At the same time I would love to see the trend in 3-point attempts compared to free throw attempts. Not long back (2013 I believe) an announcer spoke of how UConn was relying more on 3s than in years past when they won a national championship. I’d enjoy seeing if there was actually a relationship between the two.

Individual 3-point shooting (minimum 1 attempt per game):

Walker: 36 of 89 = 40.4%
Samuelson: 75 of 201 = 37.3%
Dangerfield: 68 of 185 = 36.8%
Williams: 34 of 93 = 36.6%
Collier: 9 of 42 = 21.4%

Collier, with all of her moves, should stay inside more. I know that she actually can shoot pretty well from outside, but not so well lately.
