End of season awards are not the goal for her. As an unabashed homer, I'll take Paige. I looked up a few other POY candidates, and Paige's shooting and 3pt % are better. She could go off for 38 pts in a game (ahem), assuming she had the ball in her hands most of the time, and if the team wasn't capable of scoring. POY is sometimes a flashy award, and not necessarily the best player, which I would define as more than PPG.She may not win the NPOY this year but I believe she has the most beautiful game among all four names mentioned. How she moves on the court, her court vision and passing, and her pull up jump shot are a joy to watch. No disrespect for the others but I wouldn't trade her for any of those other 3 or the last year's POY.
She's not going to suddenly change and take 25 shots like some other current/recent players, that's not her.
If she truly is going to leave UConn after this year, we only have a few more weeks of her on our team. So let's enjoy the ride and hope a little luck comes our way in March/April in key tournament games (like a decent 3-point %, and no injuries).
It’s not MSN. They just republish clickbaitWhat an awful article. The point is to say that the SC game is important for Paige’s NPOY hopes. But it ties it together with a clickbait ribbon attempting to suggest that Geno is critical of her. It’s a lot of baloney and feels like it was written by AI. I’m very disappointed in MSN.
NPOY is a "been there done that" sort of thing for Paige. Only an NC matters to her now.End of season awards are not the goal for her.
As long as UConn does not have to play Juju on clay [French Open] we should be good vs. U$C, and hopefully UConn will be in the opposite side of the bracket from uNd ==> let someone else take them out [UCLA?]...She may not win the NPOY this year but I believe she has the most beautiful game among all four names mentioned. If these are like the big 4 (or 3) in tennis, Paige is like Roger, very pleasing to the eye. Hidalgo is like Novak (and probably should win the award), and Juju is like Nadal.

I would estimate somewhere between 80% to 100% of what's on MSN is clickbait. Absolutely no standards as to what they republish. It’s not MSN. They just republish clickbait
