Heart over head. Both men and women are in the finals. Based on the Lopes performance yesterday against Utah Valley I would expect Cal Baptist to win easily perhaps by 15 or more.

Remember 1980 and Lake Placid. It can happen.

Cal Baptist started slow in their semi but exceeded 20 points in each of the last three quarters to win going away.

A win by Cal Baptist puts Utah Valley in the dance currently projected to play Louisville.

If the Lopes are to stay with Cal Baptist the Browns have to come up big and the Spaniard will need to hit for 20 plus.

edit - these Lancers can score in the blink of an eye. 21-16 after one. Lopes with 3 steals BUT the Lancers are crushing it on the boards - 5 - 0 advantage on the offensive glass. May be a long afternoon.

Just remembered, there is a consolation bracket for each regional. So each team will play at least 2 games, minimum. It does not appear that the 4 Consolation bracket winners will go on to a Conso FF.
 
I am missing something. Why did the win by Cal Baptist put Utah Valley in the NCAA Tournament and not themselves since they are undefeated?

Transitioning to D1, still not a full fledged member, so ineligible for the Tourney. It's a real shame.
 
Cal Baptist will always have an undefeated season now in WBB.
 
In the 4th quarter of the 19 points that GCU scored, 17 were by Freshman Katie Scott. The other 2 points were a FT each by 2 other players.
Now the score was Cal Baptist up by 14 to 20 points the whole quarter. What happened to the rest of the team?
 
Glad to hear they can compete in the WNIT and curious to see who and how they match up against when these seedlings come out.
