26 seats left for sellout?

If you go to ticketmaster there's an interactive chart that shows the seats available. A lot more than 26. Basically the upper corners are all available. Need a big walkup crowd to even come close to a sellout. Weather shouldn't be an issue.

Just checked it out. thanks. I thought it seemed odd. looks like we're right at back at the median/mode 38,000k for tomorrow, as of now according to ticket master.

THat, frankly, is a lot better than I had expected for this game, coming off of the chaos and change of 2011. I wonder how much red will be in the stands. Hopefully the blue is overwhelming.

Nick WIlliams called me to tell me to where blue - so I"ll be in blue.

The free pairs they threw into some packages will be announced as 'sold' as well. Place only seats 38,500 they count 1,500 vendors and support staff.

that number seams to jive with the RFQ for management services but doesn't include vendors its the SRO space.

"Completed in 2003, the Stadium at Rentschler Field is an oval open-air facility occupying
approximately 8.5 acres of the State-owned 75-acre parcel at Rentschler Field in East Hartford,
Connecticut. The total Stadium capacity is 40,642, consisting of 38,110 permanent seats with an
additional 2,532 standing room capacity in the scoreboard plaza. The Stadium has been designed with
expansion capability to 50,000 seats."

They don't sell SRO tickets though. The attendance has always included vendors and assorted others.

ok, but they don't sell tickets to vendors either, I'll go with the RFQ from the state

They have published prior that they count vendors+. You can't have 'sellouts' of 40,000, with 38k seats and no SRO sales without counting something else anyway.

College football's attendance figures are not based on tickets sold. They are based on people in the building. NOt Uconn's -- everyone's.

It's the capacity in question, not attendance figures. Either way the stadium only has 38,000 and change fixed seats so they count something to get to the 40K figure which is what Whaler and I were talking about. But to address your claim, unless you have something to support that I call BS. Have no fear though if you do produce the proof I have no legal training and will willingly admit I was wrong. ;) God the next 12 hours can't go by fast enough!!

You know the offseason is too long. Even when no one is disagreeing with each other it's an argument requiring legal involvement.
