Top 5th, Coe gets the first 2 outs, then allows a single. Brendan O'Donnell coming in to face a lefty hitter. Ryan Hyde comes in to take over the catching spot. Chris Jones speculating Garbowski's throwing shoulder is bothering him, as he has had trouble with it through the course of this season.

O'Donnell with a wild pitch, then a strikeout to end the inning. 6-1 UConn.

Top 6th, O'Donnell strikes out the first batter. Jack Sullivan coming in to pitch. Sullivan allows a single and strikes out 2 batters on the way to a scoreless inning for UConn pitching. 9-1 UConn.

Most of the pitchers the last 2 days have been around 25 pitches or less, making them available for the weekend.

Top 7th, Sullivan with 2 strikeouts while putting down the side in order. 9-1 UConn. Sullivan at 20 pitches. Afthim was warming in the pen, so it would not be a big surprise to see him for the last 2 innings.

Bottom 7th, UConn offense strands a runner at 2B. 9-1 UConn.

Jonesy breaking some news about transfers already in the fold... just awaiting NLI day

Had to walk away from the broadcast for a minute or two, would have liked to have heard that.

Hope Jonesy knows we can hear them in between innings. Think I heard one of them drop a bomb earlier in the broadcast between innings

He couldn't say who they were but it was more than one

Of course not. UConn baseball cannot talk about names until they actually sign that letter of intent.

Bottom 8th, Korey Morton with a solo 1 out homer, he had come in for Simmons. 10-1 UConn. Bench started entering the game the last half inning or so.

Top 9th, a bit of a surprise, Jimmy Wang in to pitch.

Top 9th, Wang with a scoreless inning with 2 strikeouts. He had his control today, which you can't always say. UConn wins 10-1.

Chris Jones suggesting Wang may be a midweek starting option if he keeps this sort of thing up.
