I would like for this to be the case, but we got lucky this year not having any brutally cold days. Next season has 3 November games, so they might end up bringing the average down (unless we're having a great year of course)...Based on a winning record this year, and a more spread out schedule next year with one less game, I predict will be at 27,500 average attendance next year with Duke having around 35k.

Yeah iu is in an upswing but otherwise this is an average schedule for a p4Light, compared to B12 slate later in decade
I don't think we had over 25K for any game.Just a small point, these numbers are all tickets distributed not tickets scanned. The no-shows are usually several thousand.
What? We have the UConn-UMass bowl!the lack of any true rivalry
Not to quibble, but the announced attendance was 22,000, not 25,000+. There is no doubt that announced attendance (distributed tickets) has not correlated very well with actual attendance (scanned tickets) in recent years. My impression this season was that there were more people in the stadium this year than in recent memory. Often times there are alot of people milling around the concourse and not in their seats, especially in the first half, which tends to make the stadium (especially the lower bowl) look less full than it is. When the student section is mostly empty (as it was Friday) that will also give the impression of fewer people in the stadium than there actually is. Overall I was pleasantly surprised for the turnout on Friday, all things considered.I attended the game last Friday with our group of 9 long time season ticket holders. We sit in rows 9 and 10 section 226. I have a good perspective of how full or empty the stadium is. When I saw the attendance for the game was 25+, it made me think of the old joke that many fans must have shown up dressed as empty seats. Having grown up in Storrs, with a 10-minute walk to Memorial Stadium, I have lived through many twists and turns of UConn football. I don't think the distance to the stadium from Storrs, is what deters students, rather it is the last decade of putrid teams and the lack of any true rivalry. If I was a 20-year-old college student (I wish) I don't think travelling to East Hartford (with no surrounding night life) to see UConn play GSU would be a high priority.
I have full confidence this time that UConn will be ready. Our ‘26 schedule is murderous.

You know, and I hate to bring this up at this time, but looking at this schedule the fact that there are no B12 teams on it kinda stands out. And if I put myself in a B12 Athletic Director's shoes I think I understand why UConn's B12 membership hasn't happened. If I am a B12 AD, I would be thinking, this really isn't a great fit. Those people belong in the ACC or even the B1G. And I, as a B12 AD, would be right. The program is making strides forward and if UConn goes bowling in 2026 against that schedule, I would have to think an invite would be forthcoming fairly soon. Our ‘26 schedule is murderous.

And you think that if an acretive value proposition is made that it would not be accepted? I wonder why?Man. People still love setting themselves up for disappointment after all these years
Hopeful optimism here (I know, this isn't allowed for football) but I see a very good, veteran offensive line, a high quality RS soph QB, quality and depth at RB and WR by then. Our ‘26 schedule is murderous.

We also should be well into building out the defense Brock wants to run here by then.
At this time in 2026 the B-12 and ACC will both be worried that the other conference may get us first.

You don't have to.Nah…. I just can’t.
I disagree. People hanging out under the scoreboard is a feature not a bug. People like it, it's a good view. I read newer staduims incorprate viewing decks. The Rent was ahead of it's time.Too many people standing on the redline and under the scoreboard.
