In comparison to an equity stock portfolio - I am in it for the long run and don't want to react drastically to single game results. I believe that UConn is not overvalued at #24 and is probably a good value buy at this point. If you want to really buy low, there is also a chance that UConn may drop out of the top 25, but after that expect UConn to rise in value.

We're 22 in Coaches poll with WV 2 slots behind us. If the situations were reversed this board would have their panties in a bunch.

Texas gives us the chance to move up

If we don't beat Texas, Dook, or Florida, it will be very difficult to climb back into the Top 25/relevance during the regular season.

These rankings basically mean nothing before conference play. I'd honestly prefer that they drop out of the top 25 entirely, there's just no sense in applying external expectations to a team that isn't ready to fulfill them.

we have to win 2/3 at least and then beat stanford since our conference might not have any ranked teams(based on what we've seen so far)

SMU will come around when they get Kennedy, but the fact that he missed their big OOC games kills them.

Re: Coaches Poll. Never understood how we lose to a team who is then ranked beneath us. They handed our a s s to us on a neutral court - yesterday

Winning two out of four should be good enough. I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that the committee is going to screw us over every year, but in terms of national perception, a defending champion with wins over two ranked teams isn't going to fly under the radar.
