Halftime: Louisville up 32-29, after a THREE by Dana Evans. Hailey Van Lith with three THREEs.

9 for Hailey Van Lith, 7 for Evans, 6 for Cochran.

11 for Engstler, 9 for Cardoso. 7 assists for Tiana.

I am trying to envision what a Cardoso vs. Cunane matchup would look like down low. Cardoso is fast, physical and powerful on the boards.

Evans now has a game high 14. Not bad considering she didn't score for at least the first 15 minutes of the game.

Cards getting a little breathing room 47-38.

Tiana has 11 assists, still 13 1/2 minutes left in the game.

Syracuse clawing back in it. Getting trips to the FT line, but leaving some points there. 49-44.

Im not convinced that Louisville is the best team in the ACC

Hailey Van Lith is 5-8 from 3. I thought that was the weak spot in her game before the season started.

For Louisville fans, is Robinson really THAT good of a defender? Because she's a non-entity on offense.

Hailey Van Lith knocks in another 3. 6-9. Last one w/ Engstler in her grill, probably couldn't see the rim when she released it.

62-50 Ville w/ 5:08 left.

Not a dominant win for Louisville, but they did enough. Syracuse's dominance in the paint didn't really carry over to the 2nd half, and the Cards 12-26 shooting from behind the arc is pretty good.

That Louisville Arena is Pro-Level for sure. I wonder if they use curtains to cover up the top level of seats.

Worst performance of the year by NAU in an embarrassing 79-56. loss.

Yes, the upper arena is curtained off during the pandemic. Too bad, would have been 14,000-15,000 there tonight. Including me. But I donated the cost of my four season tickets to the athletic department. Our group consists of two 70+, a recent heart surgery and a breast cancer survivor. Just can't take the chance.

She is a great defender, gets more rebounds than you would expect, and handles the ball well. But she will not shoot it. How many times was she open at the free throw line and in the lane tonight?

Lots of debate among us fans about whether she should get the playing time that she gets. I figure that Walz is getting paid a lot of money to make that decision. I'll leave it at that.

Nice battle of the Fr. posts between Cardoso and Cochran.
Didn't they use to be on the same AAU team, with Treasure Hunt of KY? I think it adds to the intrigue as they are familiar with each other already. Now to see how they develop over the next few years.....should be fun.
