Looking forward to a great night of basketball. Early dinner, in front of the TV at 7:00 and let the games begin.

I'm a Hillsman fan - just not tonight.

I think rebounding will be the key - Syracuse is scary good on the boards.

Like I asked the other day against UNC -- which Syracuse team shows up? If the Orange are hot from THREE, this one could be interesting down the stretch. Louisville has a LOT of weapons so if the Orange aren't hitting from long range, the Cardinals could win running away.

Rooting for neither team...hoping it’s a nail biter..it the game remains close it will be fun to watch..

I was going to add my take on this game until I read your comment. No need now.

Ugh, ugly start to this one. Lots of missed shots. 2-0 'Ville almost 3 minutes in already.

.-.
The players look like ants.
What is this, a school for ants? How can we teach the children if they can't even fit in the building?

(sorry, couldn't resist the opportunity for a Zoolander quote)

Cards getting going now. Hailey Van Lith splashed a couple 3's. She's got a bunch of rebounds too. 14-6 lead.

Looks like poor-shooting Syracuse showed up tonight.

.-.
Syracuse right back in it 14-12.

edit--tied at 14

Evans is scoreless midway thru Q2, she's gotta get going. 23-19 Cuse. Cardoso having her way in the paint.

edit--and Engstler, those 2 have combined 17 pts/10 reb.

.-.
23-19, Syracuse at the 2nd quarter media timeout.

Cardoso a beast on the boards.

I thought Evans hit a shot in the first quarter. But we haven't heard much from her to this point.

If she did box score isn't giving her credit for it.

Louisville is just all out of sorts right now. Credit Syracuse D.

Louisville getting their groove back. 27-26 lead approaching halftime.

Cuse gotta feel good about doing this while only hitting one 3.

.-.
32-29 Louisville at the half. Evans got going at the end. Ville splashing 3's, Cuse owing the paint.

Halftime: Louisville up 32-29, after a THREE by Dana Evans. Hailey Van Lith with three THREEs.

9 for Hailey Van Lith, 7 for Evans, 6 for Cochran.

11 for Engstler, 9 for Cardoso. 7 assists for Tiana.

I am trying to envision what a Cardoso vs. Cunane matchup would look like down low. Cardoso is fast, physical and powerful on the boards.
