#22 UConn v. Fairfield @ J.O.C (4/2/19 @ 3p)

#4 Georgia lost to LIU-Brooklyn in a midweek game earlier this year, this type of thing happens to good teams (or at least this is what I keep repeating to myself)

Top 7th, Johnson allows singles to the first two batters. Angus Mayock in to pitch.

I'm used to Johnson allowing walks, not batters actually getting hits off him.

It's baseball, it might not happen much in other college sports, but it happens a fair amount of time in baseball.

Yes, I’ve followed UConn baseball long enough to know this lol

Think about all the weekend series that are played. Not many are sweeps.

Single off of Mayock brings in a run to make it 8-3 Fairfield. One out, two runners on.

Another single, and Mayock is coming out. Bases loaded, one out. Chase Gardner coming in.

Top 8th, two run homer for Fairfield, now 10-3. I'm ready for Jake Sanderson to get an inning.

Chris Jones sums it up... "UConn is 13 of 17 and playing really good baseball - today is the exact opposite".

Glad (for now) that I chose to take the ride up tomorrow instead of today...

2 strikeouts and a two out single. Scoreless inning for Sanderson, good to see out of the freshman no matter what the game situation is.

Game over.

Chris Jones talking about WPOP doing tomorrow's game, as well as WHUS. Sounds like ESPN radio and WPOP will carry a number of games remaining on the schedule.

Well that was sure fugly...
